  • Interesting old cemetery with many historical Salem residents buried here. See the Stoddard Brown (an ex slave and basketmaker) headstone on the western edge of the cemetery. Leave a penny in the basket for luck. There is a touching monument to the child Goldie Bell Taylor. Edwin Coppock "a martyr to the cause of freedom" who was on John Brown's raid has a marker here as well. Look at the Veteran's markers for the many civil war vets who are interred here as well.

    this place maks me cry all sad. the story is the yung gurl alweys has flours. sometimes the floures are all fake. sometimes get happy when leave this place. the park nextbeside this place is a happy place not sad all over like this graves place. one day i die, and people be all sad at this place, so through me in park next door so all family be happy. park is happy place. this place all sad, boaring, and dipressing.
